That's one way to look at it I suppose. The forces of love triumphed over the forces of hate. Of course there has been a lot of hate speech recently, but that is not new. What is new is that the amount of hate speech is as little as it is. There was a time when we had fire hoses, German Shepherds, billy clubs, etc. Now we have a black man who is about to occupy the highest office in our land. I could not be happier. I know I am not the only one who can say that I love him and his family.
